The Beneficial Ownership Transparency Forum will be taking place on 7th September 2021 in London.

This exclusive, in-person forum will engage representatives from government, oil, gas and mining companies and international accounting and advisory firms to highlight the importance of beneficial ownership information in ending the abuse of anonymous companies and combatting corruption and financial crime. Speakers will discuss emerging practices and reforms in beneficial ownership reporting, how such disclosures can be improved and how companies can play a leading role in advancing beneficial ownership transparency. They will also consider the role of international accounting and advisory firms in improving and supporting disclosures.

The lunchtime keynote and subsequent public panel will feature representatives from the UK government, who will address the role that anti-corruption and transparency play in its 2021 G7 Presidency. The panel will also include executives from BHP and international accounting and advisory firms, as well as representatives from governments and civil society.
